A global business that is still operated as a family run organisation, and a major brand name within the Commercial Vehicle industry, this manufacturer has forged a name for quality, service and value for money over a number of generations. Creating parts and systems that are used in a huge array of applications, you will find their products on most of the trucks and trailers that roam the motorways of Britain.

What?

Due to their expansive growth the time has come for a new role to be created in the form of a Business Development Manager to help head up the Aftermarket Parts division. The mission is to ultimately take responsibility for the entire parts offering across your area and ensure that the successful growth is continued.

How?

As the Business Development Manager you will employ many different approaches to growing the parts business. The main path to take of course will be to work closely with the existing customers that are already buying systems and products. On one hand you will be able to provide the parts that are replacements for the systems that are already sold, but on the other, you will also be able to supply replacement parts for competitor products. Supporting these end user commercial vehicle fleets and workshops will in turn highlight and demonstrate why you are always the first port of call.

You!

This most important factor that will make this role a success is you and your personality. You will need to be a self-starter, entrepreneurial and have the determination to get the job done.

Realistically you will have spent at least 2 years in field sales selling within the Automotive market and have either worked at Manufacturer or Distributor level to understand the routes to market. This experience is not limited to the Commercial Vehicle market however and anyone with an automotive background for example a motor factor, is welcomed to apply!
