WHO?

A household name within the automotive aftermarket, this global manufacturer and supplier of parts and components to the automotive industry is an organisation that has a genuine footprint on the industrial map. With an ever-growing UK presence, success and growth, a new position has been created to enlist a new National / Key Account Manager to take control and responsibility for some of the largest accounts within the UK.

WHAT?

Your main responsibility will be the management and development of the UK’s major automotive aftermarket buying groups and their members. Working alongside a team of business development managers and reporting into the national sales manager you will ensure that the highest levels of customer service and growth across the entire organisation is substantial and continued.

Even though you will be managing these major accounts, you are constantly searching for new business as you look for new revenue streams based around the multi category parts that you are able to supply. Rolling your sleeves up is a necessity as you may find yourself in a boardroom or a garage and you must be comfortable dealing with all levels of individuals and decision makers.

As a Key Account Manager, it is essential to be well motivated, driven and ambitious along with the ability to be to work well alone and as part of a wider UK & European team.

In depth knowledge of the UK Automotive Aftermarket is of course key and having relationships at all levels is highly advantageous, as is the ability to understand what it takes to grow business.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Automotive Aftermarket Sales Experience – Essential
  • Experience in selling to Buying Groups / Motor Factors / Wholesalers – Essential
  • Experience dealing with National / Key Accounts – Advantageous
  • Full Driving Licence – Essential
