THE COMPANY: Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) was founded in 1972 as a part-time venture providing car servicing and tyres. Today, the company is the largest independent wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK. Selling six million tyres in 2007/08 - 20 percent of the total UK market - annual turnover for 2008/09 is forecast to be over £250 million. In addition to offering MTS car, motorcycle and off-road tyres MTS also fits exhausts, brakes and shock absorbers.

We are seeking a stand out performer to provide full brand and marketing support for a number of high profile automotive brands and their respective Brand Managers.
In this new role as a Marketing Executive you will be involved with all elements of the marketing mix. You will be involved with the creative content of the website, designing flyers and promotional literature. You will be heavily involved with event management activities such as getting involved with consumer brand events and exhibitions.
As the key point of contact for the Brand Managers, setting targets and deadlines and ensuring each Brand receives suitable exposure and publicity.
This role is a wonderful opportunity to become the first step towards becoming your own Brand Manager and managing your own portfolio.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Previous marketing or brand co-ordinating experience is preferred.
* Automotive industry experience is preferred but not a pre requisite. An interest in the automotive industry is a bonus.
* Ability to multi-task while dealing with fast moving promotional campaigns, oftentimes within tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* IT Skills including Excel & Powerpoint skills
* Demonstrated ability to learn relevant computer applications
* A positive attitude and a creative mind will also help you on your road to success!
